On 19 November 2020, Sciensano organized a local stakeholder meeting on the ethical, legal and societal implications of the use of genomic information.

The results from a citizen forum and the DNA debate, where more than 4500 citizens were engaged on the issues, were presented to Belgian policy makers, experts, citizens and other stakeholders. The meeting was held in Dutch and French.
